Anthony Blower, RBI from Consult to Comply will share valuable insights into what building control officers really look for in your applications. Expect practical guidance on common pitfalls, what makes an effective submission, and how to approach compliance with confidence.

13:30 – Designing for Dementia – The Role of Flooring (RIBA Approved CPD)

Forbo present their accredited CPD, developed in collaboration with the Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) at the University of Stirling. This session explores the importance of dementia-inclusive design, with a focus on how flooring can support safety, orientation, and wellbeing in care environments. Attendees will gain practical insights into best practice principles, the specific needs of people living with dementia, and how thoughtful flooring specification can contribute to more supportive and inclusive spaces.
