*The Smoky Wind* is an Essex acoustic trio blending Irish, country, blues, & Cajun, inspired by The Pogues and Steve Earle. With guitars, banjo, harmonica, whistle, and accordion, they create a campfire-style sound. Their mix of lively tunes and soulful ballads tells a story in every song.

*Washboard Hank & the Pig Iron Boys* first met on a house roof during the New Orleans floods of 2005. Luckily Hank, Cowpoke & Carsick Stevens managed to save their instruments, a washboard, banjo & mandolin from the raging torrents & they sat on that darn roof playing these good ole' songs until they were rescued"
