Jazz on the Lawn

The Judson Jazz Quartet will perform at “Jazz on the Lawn,” 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, on the South Britain Green on Route 172. The event is hosted by South Britain Congregational Church in celebration of the 200th anniversary of its sanctuary building.

The free event will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, on the Lawn outside the historic meeting house at 693 South Britain Rd., Route 172.

The public is invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket, soft drinks, snacks and join together for a relaxing evening.

The Judson Jazz Quartet, led by Ralph Judson, has been performing in this area for many years and promises to play some old and new favorites. Come enjoy great jazz standards of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s.
