Great Backyard Bird Count

Join Allison Middlemass, Coordinator of Community Conservation Programs, for the Great Back Yard Bird Count Hike. During the GBBC, people from around the world count wild birds on the same weekend and then submit their data online for scientists to use in their research. Here at Bent of the River, we will count the birds as we hike the property. Binoculars will be provided for participants to borrow during the hike. We will meet at 9:30 AM in our visitor parking lot.

Pre-registration is required by Noon on Friday, February 13, 2026 (space is limited)
Handicapped parking by the barn
Accessible bathroom on site
