It's Part 2! There were so many great songs left over after the first event, that it felt only right to have a second go. So here we are, once again celebrating the music of the 1990s phenomenon that was Britpop.
As usual, this will be a Southampton Ukulele Jam twist on the vinyl listening party. We'll be listening to each of the original tracks, and then playing each track together, as a ukulele jam. Getting a sense of how it was done, and then jamming together, putting SUJ's very unique spin on each tune.
The setlist includes some of the biggest bangers of the era, as well as a few less remembered classics:
There’s No Other Way – Blur
Waking Up – Elastica
Female Of The Species – Space
You’re In A Bad Way – Saint Etienne
A Girl Like You – Edwyn Collins
Supersonic – Oasis
Common People (Full Version) – Pulp
Beautiful Ones – Suede
Sale Of The Century – Sleeper
She’s A Star – James
Bitter Sweet Symphony – The Verve
Staying Out For The Summer – Dodgy
Girl From Mars – Ash
Live Forever – Oasis
Wake Up Boo – The Boo Radleys

We'll be back at our new venue - The Cricketers Arms in Woolston. It’s just over the bridge, there’s some parking at the back of the pub, and there is also parking in the nearby Portsmouth Road Car Park.
