Summer Foraging

Sarah Rose & Azeem Zakir Kareem from Samad Gardens Initiative will visit SWPL to discuss the basics of summer foraging.

Learn how to identify useful and edible native and medicinal plants growing in your local environment, as well as how to incorporate them into your daily lifestyle. Participants will learn the basic principles of foraging and go on a foraging walk to identify seasonal plants in a natural environment. Plants highlighted will include St. John's Wort, Red Clover, Yarrow, Plantain, and other seasonal finds!
