Family Cooking Sessions

Join us for a series of fun, hands-on Family Cooking Sessions designed to bring loved ones together through the joy of food! We are happy to announce that we are working with our friends at Marsden Road Community Centre to deliver these sessions. Whether you're a home chef or just learning the basics, these sessions are all about sharing skills, stories, and smiles in the kitchen. Each week we will be creating easy, budget-friendly recipes to cook together and tips on healthy eating. This will be a opportunities to build confidence in the kitchen in a relaxed, supportive environment. On each session we will be cooking half of the recipe that week at the venue and then before you leave you will be provided with the rest of the ingredients to cook the rest at home. Then you can sit down together and enjoy the food you have made all together.

Please note this event is for families to enjoy together, when booking your spaces please make sure to tell us the number of adults and children in your family group so we are aware of the number of people we are expected if you get a space. This event is for families of registered young carers only. Young Carers staff will be there, however for the duration of the event parent/ guardians are responsible for their children. All we ask is for you to make your own way to and from the venue as transport is not provided. If you are struggling with transport, please let us know as we can advise about public transport, as we are a small team so we will try our best to accommodate.
