The South Portland Food Cupboard is hosting our Third Annual Fundraiser Car Show this Saturday, August 9th. Located at the big “A” parking lot @ Southern Maine Community College from 10am - 2pm. Rain Date: Sunday, August 10th from Noon - 4 pm. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place Spectator’s Choice Awards, donated by Sider’s Woodworking! 50/50 Raffle! Food Trucks will be present (Smokin’ Dad’s BBQ, Maddie’s Acai Bowls, and Giuseppe Roasters!!) We have a capacity of around 500 cars!! Let’s fill the lot and feed the community!!
$20 entry fee for show cars, all proceeds go directly towards “Feeding Neighbors in Need.” We’ve done the calculations and it’s $20 per person per month to keep our operation going. That’s 1 person fed for a month for every car at the event. The proceeds help go towards not just the cost of running the building but also for buying fresh produce for recipients. We distribute 17 tons of food per week to all of our ~20,000 recipients across southern Maine.
We hope to see you all at the SMCC “A Lot” this weekend. Together as a car community we can make a positive impact on the community directly. Let’s start “Feeding Neighbors in Need.”

ATTENTION: NO SIDESHOWS, NO BURNOUTS, NO DONUTS, NO REVVING, NO HOONING, and NO LOUD MUSIC. Please be respectful of the fundraiser and SMCC’s property. Seeing as SMCC has been gracious enough to allow us to host these events on their property. There’s a reason they never allow car events or meets, let’s not ruin this location. Police will be present. Any illegal activity will be reported as we don’t want one person to ruin it for us all. That being said we hope to see you and thank you in advance for being respectful.
