Together, we’ll break down crochet patterns step by step—learning how to understand abbreviations, stitch repeats, symbols, and charts in a way that finally makes sense. You’ll learn how to read patterns before you crochet, how to troubleshoot when instructions feel confusing, and how to approach new patterns with clarity instead of anxiety.

Each class includes guided instruction, hands-on practice, worksheets, and space to bring in patterns you’re struggling with for live decoding and support. We’ll explore patterns for accessories, garments, and home décor, and you’ll also get a gentle introduction to how crochet patterns are written.

This is a judgment-free, confidence-building space where questions are encouraged and growth is the goal.

Feel free to bring any scrap yarn you might want to use up, for this series. For this 8” x 9” tapestry project, please bring:

Size 4 / Worsted Weight Yarn

You’ll need:

• Any color
• Any contrast color

Crochet Hooks

• Traditional crochet hooks

Other Supplies (optional):

• Tapestry needle
• Stitch markers

Duration: Multiple weeks (4 weeks)

Frequency: Every Thursday (2/5-2/26)

*Skill Level: Everyone's welcome but you should have some knowledge of basic stitches (single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet) and comfortability with crocheting.
