During this workshop, students will work on their own projects with guidance from the instructor using heavy textured acrylic paint, piping tips and palette knives. This class covers a standard canvas and textured acrylics. Any additional supplies requested may cost an additional amount.
Whether you are a beginner or have experience with piping flowers, textured paints, or palette knife techniques, you will enjoy exploring this amazing medium, plus you’ll leave with beautiful, dimensional artwork.

TECHNIQUES
• Backgrounds: Learn to create a textured background using various materials, sand and acrylic paints.
• Design creation: Explore mixing acrylic colors with thick acrylic medium and paint
MATERIALS
Materials are provided for in-class use.
STUDENTS
This class is ideal for those 8 and older with some previous experience. Any student under 13 should be accompanied by an adult. (The chaperoning adult does not need to purchase a ticket unless they are participating in the class.)
INSTRUCTOR
Teresa Baugh has lived in South Pittsburg for over 8 years now, previously she has lived in various parts of the country including Las Vegas. She enjoys trying her hand at various art projects and is self-taught in areas including wood working, epoxy resin, paint pouring and acrylic paints.
