Discover the Art of Fused Glass – No Experience Needed!
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll explore the unique and captivating art of fused glass. No prior artistic or creative skills are required—just a willingness to experiment and have fun! If you're unfamiliar with "fusible glass," don’t worry—I’ll guide you through the entire process.
Each workshop is designed to be engaging, stress-free, and beginner-friendly. Classes are limited to 16 participants, with a minimum of 4 required to run. Registration closes one week before the workshop date, so be sure to reserve your seat early and invite your friends to join.
What to Expect
The workshop begins with an introduction to kiln-fired glass fusing, followed by a lesson on cutting basic glass shapes. You’ll then design and assemble your own unique project, with access to a wide selection of colors and glass types. Once completed, your piece will be kiln-fired off-site and available for pickup at WPSC (for members) or at my Merritt Island studio. Shipping is also available for an additional fee.
May 17th Workshop – Fused Glass Plant Stakes
For this session, we’ll be creating a set of five 7.5-inch triangular plant stakes—a perfect way to add a creative touch to your garden. If you’d like to make additional stakes, you’ll have the option to do so for an extra fee. All basic supplies are included.
