Birdwatching

Join Meadowland Park Conservancy and South Orange Public Library for an educational tour of Meadowland Park's bird residents, led by Village Council Member and avid "Birder," Bill Haskins.

Bring binoculars or a scope if you have them and wear comfortable shoes. Some folks like to bring a notebook, too, to jot down the different species spotted.
BONUS: Use your SOPL card to check out a birdwatching kit!

We'll meet at the Friendship Circle pocket park on West South Orange Avenue (across from Reservoir Restaurant) at 9 am. Tour will last 1 1/2 - 2 hours and will conclude at the Baird Library.

Come for a little bit or come along for the duration. If you’ve never been “birding with Bill” it’s a joy.
