Embrace Your Power

This is a free community event that will focus on providing education and resources for substance use disorder, mental health and promoting social connection.

Tom Farley, a Madison, WI native, will join us for a conversation focused on his lived experience with addiction and recovery. His talk will cover topics from family life, including the impact of his late brother’s addiction, actor and comedian Chris Farley, as well as his own journey and the important role that social connection made through it all.

We will be featuring coloring and poster contest entries from youth in South Milwaukee, learn hands only CPR, and how to administer Narcan (naloxone). There will be a variety of vendors and partner organizations providing resources and education.

There will be raffles to enter for gift certificates and other prizes.

Free childcare will be provided by the South Milwaukee High School National Honor Society Students.
