Autism Awareness & Acceptance/Disability Celebration Day

Please join us for the 1st Annual Autism Awareness & Acceptance/Disability Celebration Day hosted by South Holland Police Department, The Arc of IL, & Every Step of the Way Resource Center on Saturday, July 12, 2025. This inaugural event is the brainchild of the South Holland Police Department with hopes of making this an annual event in which the community they service can access local community resources, live workshops, fellowship opportunities, & fun activities for individuals with autism & their families. This event is all inclusive, so all disabilities are welcome. The mission of the South Holland Police Department is to create and maintain a climate of safety and security within our community while delivering quality police and customer services, treating all with respect and dignity, representing themselves and the village in a positive manner and fostering an environment that actively solicits community participation. The event will be held at South Holland Community Center from 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. The South Holland Community Center is located at 501 E 170th St, South Holland, IL 60473.
