Publisher, editor-in-chief, and cofounder of Vermont’s Seven Days newspaper Paula Routly looks back at stories from Seven Days.

About this Event

Publisher, editor-in-chief, and cofounder of Vermont’s Seven Days newspaper Paula Routly looks back at stories, decisions, and milestones that have marked 30 years of award-winning community journalism.

Routly grew Seven Days from a scrappy arts-focused alt weekly into Vermont’s pre-eminent newspaper. Routly outlines the new challenges that she and other Vermont journalists face, including AI, hostility toward the press, the rise of news influencers, and the increasing costs of publishing a print newspaper.
