Buglers Holiday is a full-day trumpet celebration of learning, performance, and community for trumpeters of all levels. Held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Gerry’s Music Shop in South Hadley, this interactive event features masterclasses with guest artists Steve Felix and Marcus González, performances by the UMass Trumpet Ensemble, hands-on rehearsal opportunities, vendor showcases, and prizes, culminating in the Buglers Holiday performance. Participants are invited to bring their trumpets, try various horns at vendor booths, and play music with fellow participants in the Buglers Holiday rehearsal and performance.
Representatives from Yamaha, Conn Selmer, Jupiter, B&S, S.E. Shires Co., and more will be on site!
With a schedule designed to inspire, connect, and support musicians, attendees can explore new gear, meet fellow players, and enjoy a festive atmosphere of music-making. Participants who RSVP in advance will receive a $25 gift certificate (redeemable December 13–January 13, or $100 when purchasing an instrument at the event). Join us for a day dedicated to building community, celebrating trumpeters, and creating cheerful musical moments.
