Join us at the Terrace Greenhouse for Creating Connections, a fundraising exhibition celebrating art, community and wellbeing.
Hosted by OCD WA, Western Australia’s peak organisation for Obsessive–Compulsive and Related Disorders (OCRDs), this event brings together 12 local artists to share their work in support of people living with OCD and their families. Funds raised will go directly to sustaining peer support groups, advocacy and community education programs that reduce stigma and foster understanding.

Info: Wednesday 22 Oct 2025 | 1030 | Join exhibiting artist Leanna as she shares her creative journey and demonstrates her process of working with pastels, oils and charcoal. Known for her soft landscapes that capture the calm of nature, Leanna will discuss how her practice has grown into both a personal source of joy and a way of connecting with others. This session offers a chance to see techniques in action, hear stories behind the work and ask questions in an open, welcoming environment.
Info: Thursday 23 & 30 Oct 2025 | 1000 | Artists Susan and Vicki invite you to explore the transformative process of felting in these hands-on workshops. Renowned for her large-scale, vibrant landscapes, Susan brings her painter’s eye for colour and environment, while Vicki, a textile artist known for wearable art featuring blooms and abstract forms, shares her passion for texture and form. Together, they guide participants through the fundamentals of felting, offering a playful and creative introduction to this tactile medium. Both artists also share a personal connection to OCD through their families, making their collaboration in Creating Connections especially meaningful. No experience needed. All materials provided. In this session, Susan will demonstrate her approach to painting landscapes and discuss how place, colour and scale come together in her work.
