Dirty Work at the Crossroads

Dirty Work at the Crossroads is a play that tells the comedic yet tragic story of Nellie Lovelace, a naïve country girl who is manipulated and exploited by a cunning villain named Munro, who uses her innocence to engage in various deceitful schemes, including blackmailing wealthy women and driving men to ruin, all while maintaining a façade of respectability in a small-town setting. This Melodrama is sure to hold some valuable lessons.
