Mixed Media Shells @ The Lounge

Explore colour, pattern, line and shape in this workshop by working through a series of activities to create a range of shell drawings and paintings. You will use a variety of different media during this workshop, allowing you to experiment within and outside of your comfort zone.

I will guide and facilitate you through the process and will make sure there is plenty of opportunity for you to explore what has been taught at your own pace.

There will be no pressure during the session to create a finalised piece of art. It is about letting yourself go creatively, finding a visual release and enjoying the process.

Art is good for the soul, it helps release stress and anxiety, develops dexterity, creative thinking, mindfulness & problem solving. But most of all, art is a fun expressive form of communication that everyone should embrace!

Sketchbooks aren't provided so please do bring your own (I recommend using paper that is 140gsm and above to withstand wet materials), or use the provided paper - all other materials will be provided.

So, have your sketchbook at the ready for some exploration into different media and techniques - no experience needed. Join me and other creatives for 2 hours of relaxation, art and good coffee.
