Winter Sowing Workshop

Have you ever wanted to grow native plants from seed but weren’t sure where to start? Here’s your chance to learn! We’ll provide a short introduction on growing native plants from seed as well as a demonstration on how to make a “greenhouse” out of a milk jug.
Then, you’ll try your hand at using the seeds collected by Wild Ones volunteers. If possible, bring a utility knife or electric drill to make drainage holes in your container. Bring extra milk jugs or other clear bottles if you want to start multiple species.
