"We're Here" - Motels4Now Art Workshop Exhibition

The second Motels4Now Art Workshop exhibition, titled "We're Here" will take place at the Colfax Cultural Center at 914 Lincoln Way West here in South Bend. The opening reception will take place on Friday, December 5th from 5-7PM.

The exhibition title is declarative stating directly that South Bend has more artists than it may have realized, that this exhibit proudly presents these artists and their work, and that the Motels4Now Art Workshop has been quietly supporting and developing the artistic talents of some of the most marginalized adults in our community for a year and half now. These are individuals who live in this community, who contribute to the cultural life of the city, and who demonstrate daily that creativity persists in all conditions.

Artwork will be for sale and will generally be priced between $15-80. The majority of funds generated go directly to the artists, with a small portion going to support the Colfax Campus Gallery.

After the reception, the show can be seen on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-4PM and by appointment (email: aW5mbyB8IHNiaGVyaXRhZ2UgISBvcmc=) through January 16th, but note that the show will be closed on Thursdays 12/25 and 1/1 for the holidays.

Donations of new and used art supplies can be dropped off at the opening reception, or at a later date.
