Join us Tuesday, September 16th, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at 520 S. Michigan St., South Bend where we will be hosted by Herstoric Development. Herstoric Development is a women-led development company committed to breathing new life into South Bend’s historic and overlooked spaces. Founded on the belief that places and people shape each other, Herstoric blends thoughtful real estate development with grassroots community building. Their projects, ranging from mixed-use rehab to green space revitalization, are designed to honor the city’s past while investing in its future.
Herstoric’s work is grounded in sustainability, creativity, and a deep commitment to their neighbors. Through their nonprofit wing, Milkweed Gardens Inc., they're creating a Pocket Park and Micro-farm in the Monroe Park neighborhood. We’ll gather at one of these spaces that was once a neglected green space, now on its way to becoming a thriving urban oasis for both people and pollinators.
Please join us for light refreshments and get a behind-the-scenes look at the transformation taking shape, hear the story of how this project came to be, and learn about the broader vision for creating beautiful life-giving spaces for the Monroe Park Neighborhood. We can't wait to see you there!
Bring a friend! Under 21 welcome! Make a new friend! Looking forward to seeing you all!
