Want to improve your English or Spanish? Maybe you've been able to practice a little here and there at Latin dance events, but some dedicated time beforehand would be better--plus, why not get some social time where you're really talking and learning about fellow dancers?
Join us in this intercambio/language exchange option on Wednesday, January 21. Casual, informal, friendly...come have a drink or a bite to eat from the Ironhand menu and let's have whatever kind of conversation we can manage.
Please know at least some English or Spanish--you can be a beginner, but knowing some basic vocabulary and phrases will be the best starting point as there won't be any instruction offered, we will just learn from each other by sharing.
Free and open to dancers and non-dancers alike. People are welcome to continue visiting/talking as the dance night begins at 7 PM, or simply stay for Latin Wednesday (which does require a $10/$5 cover charge)...
This first one is an experiment! We'll see if we need to divide into groups, partners, whatever...Prompts will be provided, but don't need to be followed.

Únete a nosotros en este intercambio de idiomas el miércoles 21 de enero. Un ambiente casual, informal y amigable... ven a tomar algo o a comer algo del menú de Ironhand y conversemos sobre lo que surja.
Es necesario tener al menos un conocimiento básico de inglés o español; puedes ser principiante, pero conocer vocabulario y frases básicas será el mejor punto de partida, ya que no habrá clases, simplemente aprenderemos unos de otros compartiendo.
Gratis y abierto a bailarines y no bailarines. Puedes quedarte a conversar mientras comienza la noche de baile a las 7 PM, o simplemente quedarte para el Miércoles Latino (que sí tiene un costo de entrada de $10/$5)...
¡Esta primera sesión es un experimento! Veremos si necesitamos dividirnos en grupos, parejas, etc. Se proporcionarán temas de conversación, pero no es obligatorio seguirlos.
