The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires renovation, repair, and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in pre-1978 homes, childcare facilities, and preschools be performed by lead-safe certified contractors. In general, anyone who is paid to perform work that disturbs paint in housing and child-occupied facilities built before 1978 must be certified.
On Thursday, December 11, earn your EPA Lead Renovation, Repair, and Paint Program (RRP) certification through a full-day training with an accredited RRP instructor. The training is hosted by Indiana Landmarks and South Bend TradeWorks in partnership with the City of South Bend.
The workshop lasts approximately 8 hours with a 1-hour lunch break. Lunch and refreshments are provided. Technology Resource Center is an accessible venue. Questions? Contact
