ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence
Monday, October 20: 7PM-9PM
Wilson Auditorium
Tickets FREE but required
ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence is a national program that invites teens to write and submit ten-minute plays that confront the issue of gun violence. Each year, hundreds of teens submit their original plays and an award-winning selection committee, made up of nationally-renowned playwrights, chooses six plays that will be published and produced as part of a nationwide reading. Across the country, theatres will be turned into civic spaces, sparking critical conversations and inspiring meaningful action in local communities.
South Bend Civic Theatre invites you to join your community for a free performance to discuss the effects of gun violence on our youth. Since 2020, SBCT has proudly partnered with the national organization ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence, and this year we have invited the creator of the ENOUGH! Project, Michael Cotey, to meet the movers and shakers of our community for a chance to present the impact of this meaningful project. Community Partners will have resource tables throughout the lobby.
The performance of the 2025 ENOUGH! Project will take place at the South Bend Civic Theatre at 7:00 PM that evening, and will be followed by a brief talk-back with the performers and Michael Cotey.
CIVIC's 2025 production of ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence" is made possible through support from the South Bend Alive Grant. Now in its fifth year, the grant funds community organizations in South Bend that have a history of positively impacting the community through their youth engagement work.
