About the event

Building Parks in South Bend: A Case Study of the 35th Street Wetlands
Have you heard about the "little oasis in the middle of a neighborhood on the east side of town?" Our next Wild Ones South Bend speaker will be describing the process required to develop a park at 35th St. and why this area was identified as one of "high need." He will provide an overview of The Trust for Public Land and the ParkServe assessment tool. Speaker Andrew Tucker is a conservation scientist with The Nature Conservancy and member of the South Bend Venues Parks and Arts Ecological Advocacy Committee.
