Mark your calendar – the South Bend International Airport's FREE Aviation Education Day 2025 is taking place on Saturday, August 23, from 9:00am – 1:00pm! It will be at the Studebaker Hangar, located at 4817 Lincoln Way West.
We are looking forward to another extraordinary day jam-packed with all things aviation: aircraft displays, airfield tours, ground school, Young Eagles introductory flights*, games, arts & crafts, food trucks**, a career/job expo, and SO much more! Attendees can park for free in the long-term parking lot and receive validation cards upon entry to the event. Signage can be followed to the event entrance from the airport parking lots.
Scouts from all councils can also take part in activities throughout the day to earn their Aviation Merit Badge. Scouts should arrive at 9:00am and will have a separate entrance from the general public. They must be accompanied by a troop leader or parent/guardian.
We can’t wait to welcome you back to our airfield for our 7th annual day of unforgettable aviation fun!
