Why does warm air rise? What’s really going on with molecules when the temperature changes?


Ages 8+:

In this hands-on science adventure, we’ll explore how temperature and density are connected, watch air expand and contract, and see how the atmosphere is always pressing on us. We’ll also compare Earth’s atmosphere to other planets and discover what changes when you’re high up in the mountains. Expect fun experiments, big “aha!” moments, and plenty of time for questions.


Ages 0–8:

We’ll have fun outdoor activities to explore the powers of air—blowing, pushing, lifting, and more! Littles can experiment and play while discovering what air can do.
