Hailing from Brisbane and the GC, the bangin’ 7-piece has been touring for nearly 2 decades, released 4 albums, and features some of the country’s best musicians, consistently proving themselves to be one of the most loved and revered acts on the Australian roots scene.
The all-star line-up includes drummer Dave Bell (Kingfisha), Bullhorn stalwarts Steve Buchanan (trumpet) and Tom Stewart (sax), Ange Santamaria (Darky Roots) on trombone, Rohan Seekers (Life on Earth) on keys and CC’s funkmaster little sister Julia Rose on bass and BVs. CC the Cat’s live show is packed with epic vocal hooks and harmonies, fat drum and bass grooves, punchy brass breakdowns, dubalicious keys, high energy, conscious message, deep sonic magic and dancefloor mayhem.

Coming to the fore from improvisational groups in Brisbane’s West End, Pure Data’s free radicals include the far sighted vocalist Lily Daoud who’s melodies ascend through both time and space floating atop of dynamic instrumentalists Shannon Kelly ( Bass ), Alister Murray ( Drums ) and Paul Watson ( Guitar ) to meld into one aural singularity.
