Experience the ultimate homage to the sea as The Inn at Bay Fortune celebrates the season of Prince Edward Island’s most cherished catch—fresh-caught lobster! From early May to the end of June, we honour the generations of lobster fishers who have brought these red-shelled delicacies from the pristine waters of Fortune Wharf straight to our plates.
For over 150 years, PEI’s lobster fishers have risen before dawn, tended their traps, and delivered their harvest to customers worldwide. The island's 1,200 fishers work from 45 ports, carrying on rich traditions that shape PEI’s rural communities. Setting Day, the start of lobster season, is an annual celebration of this proud heritage, bringing communities together to cheer on the boats heading to the fishing grounds.
At The FireWorks Feast, we’re embracing the season by weaving lobster into our nightly Feast menu, curated and crafted by the Fire Brigade.
