Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Walk 2025

June is here!! & that means it’s Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month!

For those who are unfamiliar with MG, it is an autoimmune neuromuscular disorder that causes weakness in the skeletal muscles. It occurs when the immune system attacks the body's own tissues. With MG, that attack interrupts the connection between nerve and muscle.

The MG Awareness walk will be going ahead this year on Saturday, June 28th! The walk will be held in St. Peters Bay at the St. Peters Bay Circle Club. We will start the walk at the Circle Club and walk to the St. Peters Park and back or further for those who are up for it!

We will have a limited amount of t-shirts to give out to the first number of people who register on the day of the walk! A registration fee of $10.00 a walker or $30.00 for a group of four will be collected on the day of the walk. Registration begins at 1pm until we begin walking at 1:30pm (*Please note there will be no early registration this year *)
