Come and enjoy this FREE demonstration by local artist Wendy Lawson as she demonstrates the fascinating process of spinning fibre into yarn. Using her spinning wheel, she’ll show how materials like wool, cotton, mohair, and qiviut are transformed into beautiful yarns ready for knitting, weaving, and more. Samples of fibre, yarn, and finished items will be on display. A hands-on look at the art of traditional textile making!
