Here’s my simple definition of miracles: they are things that make our lives better than they would have been if they hadn’t happened. What makes them miraculous? That we take notice of them. This allows us to shift our focus onto the everyday happenings that constantly enrich our days. Oddly, because of Covid, I am more aware of everything that happens (good, bad, large, small) and that the miracle can come in many ways. Let’s expect a few miracles and capture them creatively on our pages.
Join Kathie MacDuff, artist, graphic designer, and journalist who captures her artistic passions within her signature program, Creative Journaling. For the past 28 years, she has been teaching creative journaling as well as courses in watercolour, mixed media, and a wide assortment of paper arts including book binding.
In Creative Journaling, a theme is presented, and participants are invited to use words, imagery and a variety of mixed media techniques to unearth, explore and record their unique responses, thoughts and emotions. Participants are united in hope, support and camaraderie as they uncover their inherent creativity. A safe and creative space is born where negativity is banished leaving only room for meaningful connection, self-expression and healing.
This enchanted summer week includes your Creative Journaling program, a welcome BBQ, continental breakfast, daily activities, worship with music, beach access, yoga, and evening activities.
