Maison Électronique at Aeronaut Somerville

Join us at the Aeronaut Brewery in Somerville on Sunday 10/12 at 2:30pm for an afternoon of FREE music with Maison Électronique

Maison Électronique is an instrumental trio playing original
compositions that blend Congolese rumba and contemporary seben guitar styles with other African musics and Western styles like shoegaze, surf, and dub. The group is led by guitarist Nathaniel Braddock. Braddock has traveled extensively in West and Central Africa, and collaborated with many musicians from Ghana, Congo, Zambia, Uganda, Mali, Mozambique, and Senegal, as well as US and Australian Indie rock bands. He is joined by Ugandan bassist Alex Donsal Kateregga and drummer Frank Aveni. The group gets compared to vibey instrumental guitar trios Khruangbin and La Lom,but with more notes.
