On Saturday, August 2nd, Urban Axes Boston is hosting our first (Almost) Never Thrown an 81 Marathon League! This marathon league is open to throwers who have thrown less than ten 81s in IATF Standard leagues, hence the "(Almost)" in the name. An 81 is a perfect score in IATF leagues, and we wish to feature players who are working toward achieving this goal and those with a few 81s under their belt. League members who have scored more than ten 81s in the past will not be participating, giving up-and-coming throwers the opportunity to compete on an even playing field and achieve potential milestones such as higher rankings, a league championship, or their first 81!

Each player will throw 20 IATF Standard Rules matches followed by a double elimination playoff! We need a minimum of 12 members to run the marathon league, and everyone will make the playoffs (even if we have more than 16 throwers!) Practice is at 10:30am and matches begin at 11am.

So whether you're just starting, on the cusp, or have been chasing your second or third 81, come throw and grow together in our (Almost) Never Thrown an 81 league!
