Dave the Postman’s “Thank You” party

We are ALL invited to afternoon tea on Sunday 18th January 2026 from 2.30pm in Long Sutton Village Hall, to celebrate over 30 years of sterling service to our community by our favourite postie, Dave Rowsell. As you will know, Dave has been encouraged to take early retirement from Royal Mail following a very traumatic 2025 that has seen his health become very challenging.

We look forward to helping him kick-start 2026 by thanking him for his wonderful service where he has always gone above & beyond a regular postie.

This party is a free event, but you are encouraged to "bring & share" food for the table and there will be copious amounts of tree & coffee on tap.
