Learn to Skate - Free Skating Lessons for the Somerset, WI Community

Times:
6:00-6:30pm (4 to 6 year old's)
6:30-7:00pm (7 years and up)

Where:
Somerset, WI Hockey Rink
(Behind the 1st National Community Bank near the Amphitheatre)

What:
No registration
No cost
Instructors with 20+ years of experience teaching beginners how to skate
Come to one or all four of the days of free skating lessons
Skaters literally crawl out on the ice for the first sessions and by the end are able to march around on the ice!

Skates:
Hockey skates or figure skates can be worn
Skates available for use at the rink on a first come basis

Attire:
Dress you skater in warm layers. Heavy jackets and snowpants can be restrictive and difficult to move in. Leggings, Cuddle Dud type of clothing or sweatpants/windpants are suggested for the lower body. A few layers on top with a warm sweatshirt or non-bulky coats are suggested for their upper body. Gloves and hats are recommended as well. Helmets are not required but are recommended. Hockey helmets or bike helmets work great!
