Epic Ocean Adventure: 2,200 Miles by Hand!
Prepare to be amazed by one of the most incredible ocean adventures ever documented! Join us for the screening of "By Hand" – a jaw-dropping tale of human endurance, brotherhood, and the transformative power of the sea.
The Incredible Journey:
In 2016, twin brothers Ryan and Casey Higginbotham from San Luis Obispo embarked on an unprecedented adventure: paddling 2,200 miles from Ketchikan, Alaska to Tijuana, Mexico using only their hands and 18-foot traditional prone paddleboards. No paddles. No motor. No support crew. Just pure determination and brotherly bond.
From the Filmmakers:
Directed by Kellen Keene, this feature-length documentary showcases not just an incredible physical feat, but a journey of mental fortitude, perseverance, and the unbreakable bond between brothers. The film features breathtaking GoPro footage of rough seas, dangerous crossings, and the raw beauty of the Pacific Coast.
