Workshop back by popular demand!
In this workshop, participants will learn how to translate the vibrant colors and forms of fireweed to paper. Fireweed, known for its brilliant magenta blossoms and lush green foliage, provides an excellent subject for exploring basic loose watercolor techniques. In this class participants will learn to paint fireweed with regular and metallic watercolors, incorporating several traditional watercolor techniques such as wet-in-wet, dry-on-wet, dry brush, gradient wash, ink-and-wash, and splatter.
All materials needed for workshop are provided.
Beginner friendly and all skill levels welcome 🥰.
Age Level: 16+ (children 10+ may join if accompanied by an adult).
