SONAS Irish Music & Dance @ McCarthy's

Join us on Wednesday for a special mix of Irish music, songs, dance and poetry by Sonas (the Irish word for Happiness).

Sonas are a collective of musicians and dancers comprised of Bulgarian and Irish members. On the night, you will see:

Andrey Velkov – bodhrán (traditional Irish drum), drum kit and synthesisers 🥁 🎹
Jack Kelly - bass, guitar and vocals 🎸🎙
Rosen Idealov – Irish dancing and bodhrán 🥁
Toma Chakarov – traditional Irish flute 🎶

Expect a lively show of traditional Irish jigs, reels, slides, marches and polkas, along with historical and contemporary songs and spoken word pieces in both English and Irish.
