SOFIA CUP - BUCHAREST NOMADS 11v11 (International Tournament)
Bucharest Nomads are heading back to Sofia for another brilliant weekend of football, friendship and away-day adventures.
Back in 2023, we famously lifted the trophy, beating FC Yugo 55, Singapore Badgers, and Sofia Nomads on our way to the title. It was a tournament full of unforgettable moments – including a stunning wonder-goal from our Costa Rican legend Jona and a Golden Boot performance from our top scorer Toshito, who promptly celebrated by continuing his travels around the world and no-one hearing from him again.
Now we return to the home of Bulgarian football to see if we can recreate the magic. Probably not but who cares?
Sofia is an excellent weekend away. It’s only about 6 hours’ drive from Bucharest, and now with Schengen travel making the journey even smoother, it’s the perfect football getaway.
Expect great football, good company, and a fun international tournament atmosphere.
