Float the Bear

Get Outside and Live, and join us for a leisurely community float down the Bear River between the Bailey Creek and Alexander bridges. Bring whatever you have that will stay safely afloat—tube, kayak, canoe, paddle board, or fat uncle! We will be planning on putting in around 10, and gathering in Clark Park for watermelon at noon-ish. (Feel free to just meet up there if you have an aversion to river water!)

While GOAL assumes no legal responsibility for any participant, we highly encourage everyone to follow safety rules for floating a river. Idaho law requires anyone 14 years of age and younger to wear a Coast Guard approved and properly fitting life jacket when on the water. Adults must also have a life jacket readily available. We say to everyone, "Just Wear It!". Have Fun! Be Safe!
