“When Christmas Hurts” Service

On Tuesday, December 9 at 6:30 PM, there will be a special service called “When Christmas Hurts” in the sanctuary. For many people losses during the year from job, health, financial, and loss of a loved one are heavy on their minds.

The service allows for that pain. There is no singing, but there will be beautiful music. There will also be time to light candles, grieve, and just be. In the midst of this Christmas season, and all that pulls our time and energy, the service does not try to make the pain go away, but to sit with those who are in pain and let them know they are loved and seen.
