Synopsis: This seasonal celebration finds the girls entertaining at the annual Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party. When Santa turns up missing, the girls use their talent and creative ingenuity to save the holiday party! Featuring great ’60s versions of holiday classics such as “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Run, Rudolph, Run,” and
“Winter Wonderland,” the result is, of course, marvelous! This energetic and glittering holiday package is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages.
Casting 4 women with varying vocal ranges to do solo work and group harmonizations. Be prepared to sing your choice of a “non-religious” piece of Christmas music and do some cold reading of the script.
Characters are:
Missy: An over-achiever elementary school teacher just returned from her honeymoon. She controls the evening and covers for everyone’s mistakes. She has a slightly “kinky” side that comes out once-in-a-while.
Cindy Lou: The bad girl of the group. She is sexy with a sassy wit but also a soft side and inner depth.
Suzy: is happy go lucky, giddy, silly, and pregnant. She goes along with everyone and anything.
Betty Jean: is the clown of the group. Recently separated from her husband, she shows sympathy and empathy along with her goofiness.
