March 22 – Seeding & Propagation Workshop
Start your garden strong. This workshop covers seed-starting strategies, soil nutrient requirements, soil blocking to eliminate plastic pots, and crafting compostable newspaper pots. Participants will leave with seeds and soil—ready to grow.

Matt : he/him
Matt has been working in agriculture since 2022 and has experience with both tractor-scale organic farming and small-scale, no-till, high-intensity organic farming. Matt was formerly Assistant Grower at Mass Audubon’s The Farm at Moose Hill in Sharon, MA and currently works for Roots Farm in Tiverton RI.
Juliette: she/her
Juliette is a trained plant scientist with a background in agricultural research and a passion for agroecology in practice. She has a decade of growing experience across California and Rhode Island in diverse food systems: commercial production farms, educational & research farms, orchards, subsistence-focused residential gardens, community gardens, and more. She is a veggie farmer at heart with a growing style that blends French-intensive and permaculture.
