Rivers Day in the Bulkley Valley

Rivers Day is back! Come celebrate our clean, free-flowing rivers and all they provide.

The day will start with a community float down the Bulkley River from the Quick Bridge to the Telkwa Bridge. We are meeting at the Quick Bridge at 9 a.m. to get ready and will head downriver at 10 a.m.

Bring your own canoe, kayak, raft or paddle board (and your PFD). If you don't have a boat and would like to join the float, there may be room in someone else's boat. Feel free to ask in the comments.

From 12 noon until 3 p.m. we'll be gathering at Eddy Park in Telkwa for a wild salmon barbecue, with live music (TBA).
