Translated into over 25 languages and currently optioned by a Hollywood studio, the novel won the American Library Association’s Alex Award and continues to resonate with readers around the world.
Marianne will share insights into her writing journey, the inspiration behind her novels, and her newest release Eddie Winston is Looking for Love – a heartfelt and witty story set in Birmingham. With a PhD in applied linguistics and a deep connection to the West Midlands, Marianne brings intelligence, warmth, and humour to her storytelling.
The event will include a Q&A session, offering you the chance to ask Marianne your own questions, followed by a book signing.
