🌿 Join Us for the Water and Nature Festival! 🌿

Are you ready for a day of fun, community spirit, and a celebration of nature? Come and be part of the Water and Nature Festival on Saturday, 12th July at South Hill Park!

This family-friendly event is part of the initiative, aimed at bringing people together to work with nature and water, creating a stronger and more resilient environment for the residents of Chalvey Ditches and Salt Hill Stream.

Why Project SPONGE? With changes in our climate and environment, the risk of flooding has increased.

Project SPONGE uses natural techniques to absorb and control water, reintroducing nature into our surroundings to help make our community more resilient to future floods.

We've brought together communities, conservation charities, and flood specialists to address specific concerns and work as a team to tackle these issues.

• Local Business and Community Stalls: Explore a variety of stalls showcasing local businesses and community interest groups.
• Nature-Inspired Arts and Crafts: Get creative with arts and crafts activities inspired by nature. And take part in a Nature Trail.
• Music and Interactive Activities: Enjoy live music and interactive activities suitable for all ages.
• Food and Drink: Savor a variety of delicious food and drink options from local suppliers throughout the day.

Make a Day of It! Bring a picnic and enjoy a full day of nature inspired activities in the beautiful South Hill Park.

Tickets are £5 each or £10 for families of up to 5.

Each ticket includes a slice of sponge cake and a nature trail map. Pre-registered ticket only.

Please note that some of the activities have limited availability and pre-registration is advised to avoid disappointment.
