RR5 will consist of 1.2 Laps
Total Distance: 37km / 23 miles
Start line: Three Way Inn
Finish Line: Sligo Rd/Moybroone Rd Cross Roads Junction (approximately 2.4km after Three Way Inn start line)
Road Race Format:
The Front Group: Slower or less experienced riders start ahead of a group of faster riders by a set time (their "handicap").
The Scratch Group: Stronger or faster riders start later and try to catch up.
Important: For the 2025 Club Racing Season, we are giving the front group a significant time gap head start to ensure that they can get into a good rhythm, working as a team, and share the load, to try and stay ahead of the scratch group.
First across the line wins, regardless of group placement.
The goal is for everyone to finish around the same time, making it a very tactical and exciting race.

You do not need to be a Lakeland Cycle Club member to enter.
This race is open to anyone with a limited competition licence.
