Outdoor Recreation for Mental Wellbeing by Sligo LEADER Partnership

The Outdoor Recreation for Mental Wellbeing will be held this World Mental Health Day, Friday 10th October at The Model Arts Centre, The Mall, Sligo.

Philip Stallard will be speaking about the innovative and dynamic field of adventure and nature-based therapy, how the experience and impact of therapy and therapeutic support work can be enhanced through experiential approaches in nature, and about the future of the field through practitioner development.

The event will also feature a wonderful collection of practitioners, researchers, and community organisations in related fields, including Tessa Kingston @sailingintowellness and Barry Dillon @ventureoutwp, come and meet contributors and attendees on the day.
